It's my first night at the new apartment. I walked the 2 blocks down to this library.

On the way in, this dude asked me if I'd sign his petition to legalize marijuana. Sure. Then, he tells me that I need to be a registered Multnomah County voter. I've lived here for about 3 months and I haven't registered. It's weird, I like voting and it's usually one of the first things I do when I move to a new city, right up there with changing my address at the post office. Anyway, long story short, I haven't gotten around to it here. I came in and sat down at this computer and right beside the mouse is a Voter Registration form. Signs. I just thought it was really funny that I'm actually becoming a registered voter so that I can sign the petition to legalize pot when I leave. I mean, it's not the only reason, but still.
